Hi, I’m Aram, the creator, owner, and author of How to Draw for Kids. I am a professional artist with many years of experience working in a wide range of artistic styles, genres, and areas of visual art.

Who am I
I am a professional artist and drawing teacher with decades of experience. For many years I have been working on many projects linked with art and teaching children how to draw.
Since launching How to Draw for Kids, I have created thousands of drawing tutorials, coloring pages, worksheets, and educational resources for children and beginners.
Throughout my work I have developed a simple and very engaging teaching approach that I now use in the tutorials on this site.

This site was created to teach young students how to draw and to support parents and art teachers who want to introduce children to drawing in a fun and accessible way.
All guides on this website follow a “from simple to complex” sequence. Each tutorial is created so that beginners can follow the steps without confusion and gradually develop their drawing skills.
Every lesson includes an illustration for each step along with a simple, detailed, and easy-to-understand description.
My goal is to provide materials that make drawing easier to learn and teach, helping both children and adults follow each lesson with confidence, regardless of their previous drawing experience.
Every tutorial, coloring page, worksheet, and article published on this website is created specifically for How to Draw for Kids.

You can begin with any tutorial on the site. Each tutorial is independent and includes the information a beginner needs to complete the drawing successfully.
Each lesson contains a list of what is needed to successfully complete the work and how much time it will take.
In addition, many of my tutorials include a free PDF version with all steps in one file, as well as extra materials such as a coloring page, a tracing worksheet, and a grid worksheet. All PDF files are available at the end of each tutorial.
This site also offers a large collection of coloring pages designed to help young students practice coloring and learn the basics of color theory.
These materials give parents and art teachers another way to introduce children to art and provide activities they can use for practice both at home and in the classroom.
