Bluey Coloring Pages
This Bluey coloring pages collection features all the main dog characters from this charming animated series, ready for you to color.

Bluey Coloring Pages: Introduction
One of the most recognizable features of the Bluey animated series is the consistent style used for all the dog characters. This is understandable, as nearly all of them belong to the same breed and are drawn in a unified artistic manner. As I’ve mentioned in my drawing lessons about character design, stylistic consistency is one of the most important aspects when creating characters for cartoons.
This will also be relevant to you as you begin coloring this collection of Bluey coloring pages. To stay true to the series’ aesthetic, it’s best to use a similar color palette across different characters and maintain a consistent approach to lighting and shadows, if you choose to include them.
When coloring Bluey and other characters, I recommend using bright but not overly saturated tones. The show’s art style is cheerful and vibrant, but not too intense, so sticking with clear, balanced colors will create the most accurate results.
Even if you plan to add shading to give the drawings more realism, I suggest keeping it simple. The animation style of the series is flat and minimalistic, so a light-handed approach to shadows will preserve the feel of the original design.

Coloring Schemes
Bluey is usually colored in two shades of blue. Her base color is a light sky blue, while her paws, tail tip, back patch, and ears are a deeper blue. Her muzzle, belly, and eyebrows are light beige. When working on Bluey coloring pages, it’s important to keep her color contrast clear and simple to match her look from the show.
Bingo is Bluey’s younger sister and is colored in warm orange tones. Her main fur color is a soft orange, while her muzzle, belly, and paw tips are a light cream. When coloring Bingo on Bluey coloring sheets, stay close to her warm palette.
Bandit Heeler, the dad, has a dusty blue coat with darker blue patches on the arms, tail, and back. His eyebrows and snout are light beige. These calm, muted tones are easy to apply when working with Bluey printables.
Chilli Heeler, the mom, has a light orange base with beige accents. Her overall color palette is softer than Bingo’s but stays within the same warm range. She is often colored using calm pastel oranges on Bluey coloring pages.
Uncle Stripe has darker blue-gray fur than Bandit, with deeper blue markings. His belly, face, and paws are cream or beige. When using Bluey coloring sheets that feature Uncle Stripe, keep the tones distinct but not too intense.
Aunt Trixie is similar in style to Chilli but is usually shown in muted tan or soft brown with light beige on her face and belly.
Calypso, the school teacher, has a sandy tan coat with cream accents. Her design is inspired by an Australian shepherd, and her color palette reflects earth tones.
Mrs. Retriever is usually colored in pale yellow or cream, with slight shading around her ears and tail.
Trixie, when shown separately from group scenes, should still use the same tan and cream tones. Her design is minimal and fits well with the soft, unified palette found throughout Bluey coloring pages.
Young Bandit appears similar to adult Bandit but is usually drawn smaller and with a slightly softer version of the same blue and beige color scheme. This version can be included in flashback scenes or special character sets in your Bluey coloring printables.
Conclusion
As with most of my other coloring page collections, I drew all the characters from the Bluey cartoon as close to the original style as possible. If you want to learn how to draw like this too, make sure to visit my drawing lesson where I explain in detail how to draw cartoon characters, how to make them look accurate, and how to create your own original characters that are just as charismatic as the ones you already know from animated shows.
