How to Draw a Pencil
- Draw a line of symmetry.
To complete this step, you need to draw one straight line, as shown in the picture.
- Add two side edges of the pencil.
Now draw two identical parallel straight lines on the sides of the previously drawn line.
- Depict the top of the pencil.
Connect the top edges of the two drawn lines with a straight line and two curved lines.
- Sketch out the pointed part of the pencil.
To depict the writing part of the pencil, use two straight lines of the same length.
- Add elements at the top and bottom of the pencil.
Draw two identical lines at the top of the pencil, and also add a shorter straight line.
- Depict two edges of the pencil.
Draw two parallel straight lines of the same length along the surface of the pencil.
- Add details.
Sketch out three arcs at the bottom of the pencil as shown.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Use the eraser to remove any unnecessary guidelines.
- Color the drawing.
To color this pencil, use red, gray, beige, and shades of blue.
