Begin by drawing a lemon-shape oval to establish the basic outline of the wolf’s head. Ensure the points on the sides are symmetrical, as this will later define the cheek area. Keep your lines light to make adjustments easier in subsequent steps.
- Draw the ears.
Add the ears by sketching two sharp, triangular shapes at the top of the head. Angle these ears slightly inward to give your wolf an alert and attentive look. At this step it may look a little like the outline of the horns. This will change later as more details are added.
- Draw the nose and mouth.
Sketch the wolf’s nose and mouth. Place a small, upside-down triangle at the lower center of the face for the nose. Directly beneath the nose, draw a simple curved line to represent the mouth. - Draw the pattern on the face.
So, draw a frame for the wolf’s facial features that is inside the already drawn outlines of the head. This frame consists of two parts. Each part starts from the nose, goes sideways and down. At the same time, in the cheek area there are two triangular protrusions on each side.
