Now I will show you how to draw a box step by step. Shown here is an ordinary box, which is usually made of cardboard. The box is turned edge to the observer and opened.
This lesson will help you develop your spatial imagination and in the future you will be able to draw more complex objects. In this tutorial, only straight lines will be used. In the process of work, you can use any tools at hand or draw all the lines yourself, thereby you will train your skills.
You can use any shades of brown to paint the box, but note that each face has a different shade. The inside of the box is painted in a darker color. Use the darkest shade to paint the side face on the left.

How to Draw a Box
- Draw one side.
Determine the size of the drawing and use straight lines to draw a quadrilateral.
- Add the second side.
On the left side, draw another side of the box.
- Depict part of the lid on one side of the box.
Draw a few straight lines to represent the open lid on one side.
- Sketch out another part of the lid.
On the side, draw the next part of the lid using a few straight lines.
- Draw the remaining edges of the box.
Depict straight lines to represent the edges that are further away from us.
- Add the next part of the lid.
Use even straight lines and draw another part of the box.
- Depict the last part of the lid.
Draw the last part of the lid using straight lines.
- Color the box.
Use several shades of brown.
