The crane is the main lifting mechanism on the construction site. The crane is a machine for grasping, lifting and moving piece and bulk cargo in a horizontal direction over relatively short distances within a workshop, construction site or warehouse. Cranes constitute a special group of lifting machines.
The crane has the following mandatory elements: a metal supporting structure, the main lifting mechanism with a drive and control levers, devices and devices for grabbing and hanging the load—hooks, brackets, clamps, supporting and guiding elements—rope and chain blocks.
