The cat is one of the first animals tamed by man. The cat is the smallest representative of the predatory mammals of the cat family. The cat has a unique hearing that allows it to pick up sounds that are inaccessible to humans due to low intensity or very high frequency. The eyesight of cats is perfectly adapted for night hunting and allows them to see close objects in the dark. The color perception of cats, like most predators, is inferior to humans, but cats are significantly ahead of humans in terms of their ability to smell.

How to Draw a Sleeping Cat
- Draw the outline of the sleeping cat’s head.
To complete this simple step, you need to draw one oval, as shown in the picture.
- Add the outlines of the torso of the sleeping cat.
On the left side of the previously drawn oval, draw one curved line that looks like an arc.
- Start drawing the features of the sleeping cat.
Draw two arcs inside the outline of the cat’s head to draw the eyes and also add the nose.
- Continue drawing the facial features and add the ears.
Draw the mouth below the nose using two short lines, add two ears at the top of the head.
- Add the pair of the sleeping cat’s forelimbs.
At the bottom of the cat’s head, add two arcs of different lengths, as shown in the picture.
- Sketch out the tail of the sleeping cat.
At the back of the sleeping cat’s torso, draw one curved line, as shown in the picture.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Now you should use the eraser to remove the extra lines and prepare the drawing for coloring.
- Color the drawing.
To color the sleeping cat, you should use orange and pink colors.
