How to Draw Yin Yang
Welcome to the drawing lesson in which I will teach you how to draw Yin Yang. This will be a really super easy tutorial, I promise!
Especially for beginners, I have prepared a simple lesson on how to draw Yin-Yang. The instruction includes only five steps that you can quickly follow, even if you have no experience in drawing.
The Yin Yang symbol refers to ancient Chinese philosophy and mythology. This sign means the unity of opposites. The symbol consists of several figures in contrasting colors. Yin Yang has the shape of a circle, inside which are the same figures. This symbol is very common, and you may have seen it more than once in one form or another.
In the process of drawing, you can use the tools at hand, but I recommend that you draw all the lines yourself, as this will be a great workout for you. Take your time and try to correctly position all the elements inside the circle. Check if you have all the art supplies at hand and if everything is ready, then proceed with the lesson.

Time needed: 30 minutes
How to Draw Yin Yang
- Draw the outer outline.
Determine the size and location of your drawing and draw an even circle.
- Depict the internal elements.
Inside the circle, add two more small circles of the same size.
- Add details.
Depict two smallest circles as shown in my example.
- Check your drawing one last time.
This is a very important step. With the eraser, carefully remove all extra lines in the drawing.
- Color the drawing.
All you need is black or dark gray.
