How to Draw a Cartoon Monkey
- Draw the outline of the head and torso.
Sketch out the head as an oval shape and add the torso using a curved line.
- Add the features of the cartoon monkey.
Depict the eyes, nose, and mouth inside the outline of the head using ovals, dots, and an arc.
- Finish drawing the face and add the ears.
Near the previously drawn facial features, add curved lines, draw symmetrical ears using arcs.
- Depict the upper limbs of the cartoon monkey.
Draw one paw of the monkey up and the other down using curved lines.
- Sketch out the lower limbs of the monkey.
Now you should draw the two hind legs of the monkey using curved lines.
- Add decorative elements and monkey tail.
Draw a line on the belly, add zigzags on the paws, depict the tail using curved lines.
- Draw the vine.
Beside the drawn raised paw of the monkey, draw curved lines, as shown in the figure.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Use the eraser to remove extra lines and prepare the drawing for coloring.
- Color the drawing.
Use green, beige, black, and shades of brown. Add the highlights to the monkey’s eyes.
