How to Draw a Prairie Dog

The prairie dog has short legs and a tail. The fur is brown, and the eyes are black. Now you have to depict all these features in your drawing. You can easily do this, because the instructions are very clear and accessible.

How to Draw a Prairie Dog
- Draw the head.
Determine the size of your drawing and draw an even oval.
- Depict the torso.
Using smooth lines, depict the elongated torso below the head.
- Sketch out the eye and the ear.
At the top of the head, draw the eye that has an oval shape and add the small ear on the side.
- Add the rest of the elements of the head.
In front of the head, depict the nose and draw the mouth with a smooth line.
- Draw the front paws.
Using smooth lines, depict two paws that have a wide base and taper downwards.
- Depict the hind legs.
In the lower part of the body, draw two hind legs in the same position as in the example.
- Sketch out the tail.
Finally, depict the tail, which has a pointed shape.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Take an eraser and carefully remove all the extra lines in your drawing, correct the mistakes.
- Color the drawing.
For coloring, you will need brown, gray, and black.
