How to Draw an Australian Shepherd

The Australian Shepherd is a highly intelligent and talented dog that is easy to learn and train. The shepherd dog has a large head, a slightly rounded forehead, ears of medium length and triangular shape, thick hair.
The color can be black, gray, red, or marble, in all cases there are white patches on the body. The picture shows an Australian Shepherd in a sitting position. The shepherd has a marble color, the front of the muzzle, belly and lower part of the tail are white.

How to Draw an Australian Shepherd
- Draw the head and chest.
Using a smooth line, depict the crown and add wavy lines on the sides.
- Add the elements.
Sketch out the eyes, nose and protruding tongue.
- Depict the ears.
Draw two ears that are triangular and hang down.
- Detail the color of the muzzle.
Use smooth lines to outline where the fur color will differ and add spots above the eyes.
- Sketch out the front paws.
With the help of smooth and wavy lines depict two small front paws and part of the belly.
- Draw the hind legs.
Depict a part of the back with a smooth line and add two hind legs at the bottom.
- Depict the tail.
On the side of the body, draw the tail that is raised up and slightly bent.
- Detail the color.
On the dog’s body, draw jagged lines to indicate areas where the fur color will differ.
- Color the drawing.
You will need black, pink and any shades of gray.
