How to Draw a Fish with Scales
- Draw the outline of the body.
Determine the size and location of the drawing and draw the body of the fish.
- Depict the eye.
In the upper part of the body of the fish, draw the eye in the shape of an oval.
- Sketch out the mouth.
Depict the upper and lower lip using smooth curved lines.
- Add the top fin.
Draw a large semicircular fin on the back of the fish using a curved line.
- Draw the bottom fin.
Add another fin at the bottom of the body using a curved line.
- Draw the tail.
Depict the tail on the side of the body, which consists of two parts of a rounded shape.
- Detail the fins.
On each fin, successively draw several thin longitudinal lines.
- Depict the scales.
Add the scales on the body of the fish using short semicircular lines.
- Color the drawing.
Color the body of the fish orange, color the eyes black, color the mouth pink.
