How to Draw a Realistic Tree
- Draw the bottom of the trunk.
Using a jagged line, depict the lower part of the trunk and draw two lines along the sides.
- Depict the side branches.
Continue the line and add side branches on the left side.
- Add branches in the middle.
With the help of smooth lines draw several branches of different shapes.
- Draw branches on the other side.
Sketch out several branches of different shapes on the right side.
- Add the outline of the crown.
Use jagged wavy lines to depict the crown.
- Draw the outline of the crown at the bottom and side.
At this stage, draw a curved, wavy line over the branches.
- Add the outlines of individual branches.
Depict a few uneven lines, as shown in the example.
- Detail the crown and bark of the tree.
On the crown, add some free-form lines, also add jagged lines on the trunk and branches.
- Color the realistic tree.
Color the trunk and branches brown, color the foliage green.
