How to Draw an Ape
Today, I would like to tell you how to draw an ape. This lesson is sure to please each of you and will help you improve your drawing skills.
I am glad to bring to your attention this simple and very interesting drawing lesson, with which you will learn how to draw an ape step by step. This is another fascinating drawing lesson that is dedicated to depicting all animals. I have designed this tutorial especially for kids, as well as for beginners who don’t have much drawing experience, so this tutorial only contains easy-to-follow elements.
The apes is a mammal animal, closest in structure to humans, belongs to the order of primates. The modern classification identifies more than 400 species of apes or higher primates. They mainly live in Africa, South America. Some apes live in the zoo, perform in circuses, while others have it as a pet. Apes, like people, communicate with each other. Apes communicate through facial expressions and sounds.
The ape you will draw with this tutorial looks like a baby ape. The animal you draw will look very cute and funny. Also note that in this tutorial, I suggest you draw an ape in a cartoon style. How to Draw an Ape
- Draw the outlines of the head and torso.
To depict these parts of the body, you should use curved lines of different lengths.
- Start drawing the facial features.
Add the eyes in the form of ovals and the nose, which looks like a triangle with rounded corners.
- Continue drawing the facial features.
Sketch out the nose and the mouth. Add arcs around the edges of the face.
- Draw the monkey’s ears.
On the right and left sides of the head, depict two symmetrical ears using arcs and short lines.
- Depict the pair of monkey forelimbs.
On the monkey’s torso, add two long front paws with fingers using curved lines.
- Add the pair of the monkey hind limbs.
Depict the hind legs by drawing curved lines from the right and left sides of the monkey’s torso.
- Sketch out the fur and tail of the monkey.
Draw an arc on the torso, add zigzags at the bottom of the paws and draw the long, rounded tail.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Use the eraser to erase the remove lines and prepare the drawing for coloring.
- Color the drawing.
To color the monkey, use beige, shades of brown, and also black.
