How to draw Daffy Duck step by step
- Illustrate the head of the Looney Tunes duck.
Start shaping Daffy Duckโs head to establish his recognizable silhouette. Draw the upper part of the head using a curved outline. At the top, sketch three short feather-like spikes pointing upward. This feature helps give Daffy his comical appearance, typical of Looney Tunes characters.

- Draw the beak of Daffy Duck.
Once the headโs outline is in place, move on to illustrating Daffy Duckโs beak. This feature defines much of his personality, so try to represent it as authentic as possible. Sketch the wide upper part of the beak extending outward. Add the lower part of the beak as a smooth curve.

- Sketch the duckโs neck and upper torso.
From the lower part of the Duckโs head, extend two lines downward to represent his thin neck. Then continue those lines into the upper torso, shaping it with a gentle curves. The torso should be narrower at the shoulders and wider at the bottom.

- Illustrate Daffy Duckโs arms on his hips.
From the shoulder area, sketch both arms bent at the elbows with the hands resting on his hips. His arms are drawn as simple tubular shapes. The fingers should appear simple and rounded, typical of classic cartoon style. Draw small pointed lines at the elbows to indicate feathers.

- Outline the characterโs lower body.
Continue the construction of Daffy Duckโs body by sketching the lower torso. Extend the body shape downward and mark short feathered shapes for the upper parts of the legs. The lower outline of the torso should remain simple, leaving enough space for the large cartoon feet that will be added later.

- Sketch the legs and webbed feet.
Now illustrate Daffy Duckโs long legs and oversized webbed feet, one of his most recognizable features. From the bottom of the torso, extend smooth lines for each leg. Keep them fairly thin and elongated. At the end of each leg, draw large, flat duck feet with wavy outlines along the edges to represent the webbing. The feet should spread outward.

- Draw the eyes and nostrils of Daffy Duck.
Inside the upper part of the head, sketch two large oval eyes close together, slightly tilted to enhance the comical look. Add smaller ovals inside each eye for the pupils, keeping them directed toward the same side. Then, outline the curved eyebrows above the eyes and small nostrils on the upper surface of the beak.

- Sketch the tongue, tail, and chest feathers.
Return to the head to draw the tongue inside the mouth and a short line of the neck. Then, sketch feathers on the chest and tail of Daffy Duck. Also, clean up the drawing of the cartoon duck by removing unnecessary construction lines. You can darken the final lines.

- Add color to the Looney Tunes duck.
His feathers should be filled with a deep black tone, while the beak and feet should be bright orange-yellow. For a clean cartoon look, keep the color areas flat and even, without gradients or texture. Use pink tones to color the inside of the mouth.
