How to Draw a Bluebird
- Draw the head.
Depict a smooth rounded line.
- Sketch out the torso.
Continue the lines of the head and depict the rounded torso as in the example.
- Depict the beak.
The beak is small and pointed.
- Draw an eye.
Depict a small oval and add the large dot to depict the hole in the beak.
- Sketch out the wing.
On the right side of the torso draw the wing using smooth lines.
- Depict the tail.
With the help of smooth rounded lines draw the tail of the same shape as shown in the picture.
- Sketch out the paws.
At the bottom of the torso, draw two thin paws that have long fingers.
- Add details.
Draw lines where the plumage color will be different.
- Color the bluebird.
For plumage, use gray, blue, and beige. Color the beak and paws in grey. Color the eye with black and add highlights.
