How to Draw a Gecko

Now you will learn how to draw a gecko step by step. This is a small lizard. The main feature of the gecko is the special structure of the fingers, thanks to which the animal can move freely on any surface, even on the ceiling.
The eyes of the gecko are very sensitive to light and distinguish a wide range of colors, thanks to which the gecko hunts well in the dark. Geckos make various sounds to communicate with their relatives.

How to Draw a Gecko
- Draw the head.
The sides of the head are convex, and the front part has a pointed shape.
- Depict the front paws.
From the head, draw smooth lines to draw thin paws that are bent.
- Sketch out the fingers.
Draw three fingers on each paw. The ends of the fingers are rounded.
- Draw the torso and hind paws.
Add smooth rounded lines to draw the curve of the torso. At the bottom, add the thin hind paws.
- Add the toes on the hind paws.
On each paw depict the fingers of the same shape as on the front paws.
- Sketch out the tail.
The tail is long and curved.
- Depict the eyes.
Draw a small oval on each side of the head.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Correct your drawing if necessary, remove extra lines, and draw pupils on the eyes.
- Color the gecko.
Use green to color the torso. Color the eyes yellow.
