How to Draw a Humpback Whale

I decided to dedicate this lesson to drawing the aquatic inhabitants of our planet, and now you will learn how to draw a humpback whale. This whale has a large back fin, shaped like a hump, and while swimming, the whale arches its back. Hence, the unusual name.
The humpback whale is considered the most energetic of all whales. He makes high jumps, hits and flaps his pectoral fins on the surface of the water, often sticks his head out of the water. In this tutorial, you will draw a humpback whale that has raised its head high and lowered its pectoral fins.

How to Draw a Humpback Whale
- Draw the outline of the torso.
Use smooth curved lines to draw the outline of the back and the outline of the lower body.
- Depict the tail.
In the lower part of the body, draw a tail, which consists of two pointed parts.
- Add the mouth and eyes.
In front of the torso, draw a smooth line to depict the wide mouth and add the eye.
- Sketch out the pectoral fins.
With the help of smooth curved lines depict two fins of the same shape as in our example.
- Detail the color.
With smooth lines, mark the contour where the color of the body will differ.
- Detail the lower body.
Draw thin strips in succession at the bottom of the head and on the belly.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Use the eraser to carefully remove the extra lines on the drawing to prepare it for coloring.
- Color the drawing.
In this tutorial, you will need light gray, blue, and black.
