How to Draw a Palm Leaf
- Draw part of the left side of the palm leaf.
To draw the left side of the palm leaf and part of its stem, use curved lines.
- Depict the top of the palm leaf.
Next to the previously drawn curved line, add some curved lines, as shown in the figure.
- Add the piece of the palm tree leaf on the right side.
Below one of the previously drawn lines, add a few more curved lines of varying lengths.
- Depict the crack on the leaf on the right side.
Draw curved lines of varying lengths as shown in the image to complete this simple step.
- Finish drawing the outline of the palm tree leaf.
Connect the edge of one of the previously drawn lines with the short line drawn in the first step.
- Add another crack on the leaf.
Inside the previously drawn shape, depict one small shape using two curved lines.
- Sketch out the vein on the leaf.
Draw one long, curved line along the leaf you have drawn.
- Add another vein to the palm leaf.
Next to the drawn curved line, draw another similar curved line, as shown in the figure.
- Color the drawing.
To color the palm leaf, use different shades of green.
