Materials
- Pencil
- Paper
- Eraser
- Coloring supplies
Time needed: 20 minutes
How to Draw a Plant
- Start drawing the outline of the plant pot.
To complete this step, draw two identical straight lines sloping in different directions.
- Add the outline of the bottom of the pot.
Depict straight horizontal lines at the bottom and top of the pot.
- Complete the drawing of the top of the pot.
Above the previously drawn straight line depict a rectangle without a bottom base.
- Start drawing the plant.
Above the pot, draw four curved lines to represent two plant shoots.
- Add another part of the plant.
Above the two previously drawn plant shoots draw two more shoots using curved lines.
- Draw the leaves at the bottom of the plant.
Depict curved lines from the bottom two shoots to represent two leaves of different sizes.
- Add two more leaves of the plant.
Now depict the two leaves near the top sprouts. Use straight and curved lines to do this.
- Draw the veins on the leaves.
To do this step you have to add thin straight and curved lines on each of the drawn leaves.
- Color the drawing.
To color this plant you should use green and shades of brown.
