How to Draw a Roaring Lion
- Draw the outline of the lion’s open mouth.
To complete this step, you need to draw a curved line, as shown in the picture.
- Add the tongue, teeth, and nose of the lion.
Near the drawn shape, add pointed fangs, nose, and tongue using straight and curved lines.
- Finish drawing the mouth of the lion.
Draw one arc and also add four curved lines from the top to the bottom of the open mouth.
- Sketch out the lion’s mane.
Near the drawn mouth of the lion, add a lot of rounded and wavy lines, as shown in the picture.
- Depict the pair of forelimbs from the roaring lion.
Below the previously drawn lion’s mane, add two curved lines of different lengths.
- Draw the body of the roaring lion.
Depict an arc near one of the drawn front paws, add curved lines near the lion’s mane.
- Add the pair of rear limbs for the roaring lion.
From the drawn line of the belly, draw two curved lines of different lengths.
- Sketch out the tail of the roaring lion.
Draw the long, thin tail of the lion with the fluffy tassel at the end, using curved lines.
- Color the drawing.
To color the roaring lion, use beige, shades of brown, red, and pink.
