Now I will show you how to draw an easy animal. As an example, I decided to choose a lion. This is a formidable predator that is able to cope with any opponent.
The lion is large and inspires fear, but in our lesson the lion looks quite harmless and even very cute. Here, the lion is presented in a cartoon style. The lion has a round head, a lush mane, short legs and a tail with a tassel.
This lesson is sure to appeal to children and novice artists, as it uses simple elements that can be easily repeated. The instruction includes nine steps, where each step is one simple action.

How to Draw an Easy Animal
- Add the outline of the head.
To do this, you need to sketch out a circle.
- Draw the elements of the muzzle.
Add oval eyes, the nose in the shape of a triangle and draw rounded lines to depict the mouth.
- Sketch out the ears.
Using a rounded line, draw the outer outline of the ear, then add the inner outline.
- Depict the mane.
Use a wavy line to depict the mane around the head.
- Add the front paws.
Using smooth lines, draw short front legs that are located together.
- Draw the back paw.
Sketch out one hind leg with a curved line.
- Add the belly and tail.
Draw one short line between the back and front paws and draw the tassel tail.
- Sketch out the fingers.
On each paw, draw short strokes to depict the fingers.
- Color the easy animal.
Use several shades of beige to color the fur, color the eyes black.
