How to Draw a Sledge

Now you will learn how to draw a sledge. This is everyone’s favorite attribute of the winter period, thanks to which you can quickly ride down the hill.
A sledge is a common type of wagon that allows people and goods to be transported over snow. For traction, horses, deer, mules, bulls or dogs are usually used.
You can easily repeat all the drawing steps, but your ability to draw even straight lines is required here. Try to carefully draw all the elements of the sledge to get a great result.
Materials
- Pencil
- Paper
- Eraser
- Coloring supplies
Time needed: 25 minutes
How to Draw a Sledge
- Draw one wooden crossbar.
Depict two parallel lines and add connecting segments at the ends.
- Add the second crossbar.
Draw the second crossbar of the same shape, but slightly to the right.
- Depict the third crossbar.
Repeat the previous step and draw the third crossbar at the bottom.
- Sketch out the skids on one side.
Draw a straight line with one end twisted into the spiral.
- Draw the skids on the other side.
Sketch out the same line a little lower.
- Add details.
Depict the posts that connect the bottom and top of the sled.
- Add more details.
Draw vertical posts on the other side.
- Sketch out wood texture.
Draw thin lines of arbitrary shape on the upper planks.
- Color the slegde.
