How to Draw a Tree Branch
- Draw the bottom outline of the tree branch.
Determine the size of the tree branch and depict a smooth line of arbitrary shape.
- Start drawing the top outline.
Draw a rounded edge and continue the line to show the top of the tree branch.
- Add small branches.
Using a few lines, add the small tree branches and depict the top outline.
- Sketch out more small branches.
At the end of the branch, draw a few short lines to depict small branches.
- Depict part of the tree branches.
Using a freeform wavy line, sketch out the leaves at the ends of the branches.
- Draw the rest of the foliage.
Repeat the previous step and depict the foliage on the other small branch.
- Detail the foliage.
Sketch out a lot of short strokes on the foliage.
- Add details.
On the surface of the tree branch, draw thin lines of arbitrary shape.
- Color the drawing.
Color the bark brown and color the foliage green.
