As an example, I chose a character from the Dragon Ball series. This guy’s name is Vegeta Goku. This is the prince of an extraterrestrial race of warriors. Vegeta is arrogant, proud, and hardworking. Vegeta has achieved mastery through constant training, so he is extremely strong, agile, and hard to beat.
Vegeta Goku has a non-standard appearance. He has thick hair of an unusual blue color and is always dressed in a bright suit. With the help of a simple instruction, you will quickly draw this anime character, and you can apply the acquired skills in drawing other characters.

How to Draw Anime Step by Step
- Draw the outline of the head.
First draw a smooth circle, then add the lower part of the face and markup.
- Add facial features and ears.
Draw the eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, folds on the skin and draw the large pointed ears.
- Sketch out the hair.
The character’s hairstyle consists of individual spiky strands pointing upwards.
- Depict the torso.
The body is relatively small and has the shape of a trapezoid.
- Draw the upper parts of the arms and legs.
At this stage, these parts of the body are oval. Use smooth rounded lines.
- Add the lower parts of the legs.
Using curved lines, try to correctly depict the relief of the legs.
- Draw the lower parts of the arms.
The arms are crossed over the chest and large gloves are worn on the hands.
- Detail clothes and shoes.
Using short, straight lines, add the rest of the clothes and shoes.
- Color the drawing.
Use blue, beige, dark gray and yellow. Don’t forget to add the shadows.
