How to Draw Wolverine for Kids

Today I will show how to draw Wolverine from Х-Men. His past is shrouded in mystery, his memories are full of government secrets, traumatic events, and deaths.

Step 1

First, we will depict the head and torso of Logan. Inside the contour of the head sketch two intersecting lines. It will help us to draw the eyes, nose, and mouth in the future steps.

Step 2

In the second step, we will draw arms and legs. It looks like ordinary cylinders. In your picture, the legs should be thicker and heavier than the arms.

Step 3

Wolverine’s mask is one of the most memorable elements of his appearance. Let’s depicture the contours of this mask using straight lines. Also, depicture a crooked mouth with sharp teeth.

Step 4

Now let’s draw the individual elements of the Wolverine costume. These elements are belt, shoulder pads, greaves, and a pattern on the lateral parts of the abdomen. In the same fourth step, we will draw out Wolverine’s claws.

Step 5

Depict the details of Wolverine’s head. Circle the lines of the mask and face of the furious superhero. After that we draw the mouth. At the end of this step, we erase unwanted guidelines from the head.

Step 6

Now circle the torso and arms. Depicture a few patterns on the body and the X-Men logo on the belt. Logan’s arms should be powerful, and his fists big. Draw out the claws of Wolverine in the final version with clear, confident final contours.

Step 7

It is practically the final of this sketching guide about. In this step, we draw out the legs of Logan and his boots. Don’t forget to draw the folds on fabrics that look like short horizontal lines. By the way, in our opinion, these are the most unusual and interesting boots in comic books.

Now let’s add some color to the sketch. We prefer the most famous Wolverine’s suit so we used yellow and blue colors. You can change the blue and yellow color to brown so that you get old school Wolverine.

He was in many teams, received different incarnations on film or television screens. During all this time, this superhero was dressed in a variety of costumes, and you can draw Wolverine in any of these costumes.

For example, you can draw him in this brown costume, which was invented in 1982, when Marvel launched a separate comic about Wolverine.
