How to Draw a Cute Turtle
- Draw the head and torso.
Depict the head which has a rounded shape, and then add the small torso.
- Add the elements of the muzzle.
Draw two oval-shaped eyes and use a small curved line to represent the mouth.
- Depict the bottom outline of the shell.
Sketch out a smooth curved line at the bottom of the body.
- Detail the bottom of the shell.
Using thin lines, depict individual segments at the bottom of the shell.
- Detail the top of the shell.
On the rest of the shell, add thin the strips of different sizes, as shown in the example.
- Sketch out the front paws.
Draw two short front legs in the lower part of the body.
- Depict the hind leg and tail.
Use smooth curved lines to draw the hind leg and add the pointed tail.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Check your drawing carefully. Take your time with this step. Correct the mistakes if necessary.
- Color the drawing.
