Drawing birds is a lot of fun, and now you will learn how to draw a hawk step by step. The hawk can be found all over the globe, because this bird lives on all continents except Antarctica. This is a large bird of prey. The prey of the hawk can be insects, small birds and animals.
The main tool of this feathered hunter is sharp eyesight. The hawk also has good hearing, but a poor sense of smell. It is believed that the hawk is the most intelligent bird on Earth.

How to Draw a Hawk Step by Step
- Draw the head and torso.
The head and torso are one figure, which has an elongated, oval shape.
- Depict the eye.
In the upper body of the hawk draw the outline of the eye, add the pupil and upper eyelid.
- Sketch out the beak.
With the help of several curved lines depict the large sharp beak.
- Add the wing.
Draw the wing on the side of the body using smooth lines.
- Detail the plumage.
Depict a zigzag line on the neck and use curved lines to draw the individual feathers on the wing.
- Add the tail and upper part of the paws.
Draw the tail, which consists of four elements. Add the upper part of the paws with curved lines.
- Draw the paws.
Add two paws that are located next to each other. On the paws, draw the fingers in sequence.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Use the eraser to remove all extra lines in the drawing.
- Color the drawing.
For coloring, you will need several shades of brown.
