How to Draw a Hermit Crab
I invite you to a new lesson in which I will show you how to draw a hermit crab. This tutorial uses simple lines and a minimum of elements.
Especially for children and beginner artists, I have prepared an interesting and simple lesson on how to draw a hermit crab step by step. Hermit crab lives in almost all the seas of our planet. Some species live on land in forests near water bodies.
Cancer always wears a shell, because its body is soft and requires protection. In this shell, cancer hides in case of any danger. To successfully complete this lesson, you will need your ability to draw smooth, curved lines. Try to do this carefully and make sure that your drawing is as similar as possible to my example.
Now I will ask you to prepare all the necessary art supplies, and you can get to work.
Materials
- Pencil
- Paper
- Eraser
- Coloring supplies
Time needed: 30 minutes
How to Draw a Hermit Crab
- Draw the outer outline of the shell.
Determine the size and location of your drawing and draw a smooth, curved line.
- Depict the head.
Draw the rest of the shell outline and add the head.
- Add elements of the face.
Draw the eyes as two ovals and use a curved line to represent the mouth.
- Draw the inner outline of the sink.
At this stage, depict the spiral at the bottom of the shell.
- Sketch out one claw.
Draw the claw on the side of the head, which consists of several elements.
- Depict the second claw.
Repeat the previous step and add another claw next to it.
- Add the paws.
At the bottom of the shell, draw two paws that are located side by side.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Look at your drawing and if you notice any mistakes, correct them. Remove extra lines.
- Color the drawing.
For coloring, you will need different shades of pink, as well as black.
