How to Draw a Lettuce
- Mark the outer contour.
Draw an oval shape where the bottom top is wider than the top.
- Depict the leaves.
Using curved lines, add the outline of two large leaves.
- Draw the roots.
From the base of the plant, draw up smooth lines, as shown in the example.
- Add the outline of the leaves.
Draw a few wavy lines to outline the top leaves.
- Sketch out the veins.
Draw small, thin lines in succession along the spine on each side.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Using the eraser, carefully remove all extra lines in your drawing.
- Color the drawing.
For coloring, you will need different shades of green.
