How to Draw a Plant in a Pot
- Start drawing the pot.
To draw the top of the pot, you need to draw one rectangle using straight lines.
- Finish drawing the pot.
Below the rectangle, draw two curved lines on the sides and one straight line at the bottom.
- Start drawing the plant.
Above the previously drawn pot, depict the stem of the plant by drawing two curved lines.
- Depict the leaf stems of the potted plant.
On the right and left sides of the drawn plant stem, draw straight and curved lines.
- Sketch out three leaves of the plant.
On the left side, add three identical leaves using the same smooth, rounded lines.
- Add two more leaves of the potted plant.
Draw another leaf, and then add the same plant leaf on the right side of the stem.
- Sketch out the last two leaves of the plant.
Draw two more of the same leaves as previously drawn, placing them to the right of the stem.
- Add the veins on the leaf of the plant.
On each of the previously drawn leaves of the plant, draw one line, as shown in the figure.
- Color the drawing.
To color the plant in a pot, use shades of green, beige, and also brown.
