An owl is a bird of prey that hunts at night and sleeps during the day. The owl is a symbol of knowledge, wisdom, and prudence. This is a very graceful and beautiful bird.
In the picture you see a simple owl, which has large eyes and a small beak, and the body has a rounded shape. To draw the outer contour, use jagged lines, so you will depict lush plumage. If all the art supplies are already at hand, then you can start the lesson.

How to Draw a Simple Owl
- Draw the torso and head.
Using jagged lines, depict the torso and head, which are one object.
- Depict the eyes.
Draw the outer contour of the eye and the contour of the pupil as two ovals of different sizes.
- Sketch out the beak.
Draw a small beak that is shaped like the diamond.
- Add the wing.
Draw the wing on the side of the body using jagged lines.
- Depict the paws and detail the plumage.
At the bottom, add two small paws and draw thin strokes on the body to depict feathers.
- Draw the branch.
Sketch out the branch on which the owl sits using a free form line.
- Sketch out the tail.
At the bottom, add the tail of the same shape as in the example.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Correct the mistakes if necessary and remove any extra lines in your drawing.
- Color the drawing.
