How to Draw an Open Book
- Draw the bottom edge of the pages of the book.
To complete this simple step, you need to depict two curved lines connected at the same point.
- Sketch out the fold line.
From the previously drawn point, draw a diagonal straight line.
- Add the side edges of the pages.
Depict two straight lines parallel to the previously drawn diagonal line.
- Draw the top edge of the pages of the book.
Using two curved lines, connect the ends of the previously drawn straight lines.
- Start drawing the side edges of the book.
Sketch out one incomplete oval, as well as three straight lines of different lengths.
- Finish drawing the side of the book.
Connect the ends of the previously drawn straight lines and an incomplete oval..
- Depict the bottom of the end of the book.
Connect the ends of the incomplete oval with a curved line, and add another curved line as well.
- Draw the edge of the book cover.
Use straight lines of varying lengths to depict the cover of the open book.
- Color the drawing.
To color the open book, you need to use three shades of gray and also blue.
