How to Draw Beast Boy: Introduction
In this lesson you will learn how to draw beast boy. This is one of the DC Comics characters, which then became the hero of cartoons and films.
This boy’s real name is Garfield Logan. It was an ordinary boy, but one day he fell ill with a rare disease, and for the cure it was necessary to make changes to the genetic code, as a result of which the boy’s appearance changed, and he acquired the features of a beast.
Garfield’s skin and hair have changed color. Garfield also acquired the ability to turn into any beast.
In this drawing, the Beast Boy has a very large head and pointed ears. The body is relatively small, the arms and legs are thin and long. Try to keep all these proportions in your drawing.

How to draw Beast Boy step by step
- Sketch the lower part of the face.
First, sketch the head of the comic book character, marking the bottom edge as a simple shape. The head of Beast Boy, the cartoon hero from Teen Titans, is a slightly squared, so make sure to mark it. Try to make the line really light so you can adjust later.

- Sketch the hairstyle and one ear.
Illustrate Beast Boy’s stylized hair and his first large ear. The hair should look spiky and sharp. Add a couple of small stands at the top of the head. Draw the left ear as a wide, pointed shape, similar to an elf’s ear. Make the ear edges wavy and simple.

- Sketch the other ear and neck.
Now, add a smooth short line of the ear to make it look more detailed. Sketch the matching ear on the opposite side. Try to position the ears symmetrically. Add a small curved line under the face to mark the neck of the comic book character.

- Draw Beast Boy’s torso.
Continue by illustrating the comic book character’s simplified torso. Draw two short vertical lines descending from the neck to form the sides of the upper body. This creates a small frame for the cartoon character. The body should remain smaller in proportion to the large head.

- Sketch the sleeves and cuffs.
Sketch the curved shoulders and add the arm sections extending down from each side of the torso. Outline the flared cuffs near the wrists to represent his uniform. The arms of the comic book character should slightly expand towards the cuffs. Try to make all lines smooth and simple without excessive detail.

- Draw the hands of Beast Boy.
Sketch Beast Boy’s gloved hands, which should be drawn with four simple lightly curved fingers. The hands should also be very cartoony, and the fingers expand slightly to the tips.

- Outline the character’s belt and legs.
Now illustrate the belt with a rectangular buckle and visible segments. Extend the body downward to draw the legs, making them short and simple, as in simplified cartoon or comic book characters. The legs should expand slightly toward the ankles and end with large, simple shoes.

- Complete the features of Beast Boy’s face.
To sketch the eyes, mark a couple of simple ovals. Inside them, include smaller circles for pupils. Draw thick eyebrows above the eyes and a small curved line for the mouth. Include a pointed fang on the lower lip. Between the eyes sketch the nostrils.

- Clean the lines and add comic book colors.
Now, fill his skin with bright green, as in classic comic books. Color his hair and eyebrows a darker green. Paint the suit purple with black sections on the sides, and fill gloves, belt, and boots with a medium gray tone. Keep the teeth and eyes black with small black pupils.
