How to Draw Spinosaurus

Spinosaurus has a very striking feature in the form of its spine, with large processes of dorsal and caudal vertebrae that form a fan-like shape called a “sail”.

- Pencil
- Paper

How to Draw Spinosaurus
- Add the outlines of the head and torso.
Sketch out two arbitrary shapes using curved lines.
- Add the outline of the neck and tail.
Connect the contours of the head and torso using two curved lines, add the pointed tail.
- Depict the front legs.
Draw two identical front legs of the spinosaurus with pointed claws.
- Draw the hind limbs of the spinosaurus.
Sketch out one leg of the spinosaurus standing straight, and the other raised up.
- Add facial features.
This step will be simple, to complete it depict one straight line and an oval.
- Sketch out the ledge on the back.
At this stage, draw one long, curved line as shown.
- Add teeth and elements on the back.
Draw a few straight lines, as well as a zigzag line.
- Correct inaccuracies.
Use the eraser to remove any unnecessary guidelines.
- Color the drawing.
To color the spinosaurus, use shades of brown and yellow. Add the highlights.
