How to Draw Stairs

So, I am glad to bring to your attention this wonderful drawing lesson, in which I will tell and show you how to draw stairs step by step. You don’t need to be a professional artist with much experience to complete this tutorial. Any novice artist or child can follow this instruction.
Each of you has seen different steps many times. Stairs are elements of stairs that are used as a support for climbing or descending. Steps can be found both indoors and outdoors or in open space.
By learning how to draw stairs with this easy tutorial, you will be able to use these skills to complete many of your wonderful paintings. For example, you can draw a house, a theater, some kind of architectural structure, a room, a cityscape, as well as steps as the main subject of your drawing.
In order to complete this lesson well, you need to be able to draw straight lines. To make your drawing look neater and more realistic, you can use a ruler when drawing steps.
Materials
- Pencil
- Paper
- Eraser
- Coloring supplies
Time needed: 30 minutes
How to Draw Stairs
- Draw the bottom step.
To start drawing the steps, draw a rectangle as well as some straight lines.
- Add the second step.
Now draw the step above the previously drawn one using a smaller rectangle.
- Depict the third step.
Above the previously drawn steps, add another one using a smaller rectangle.
- Sketch out the fourth step.
This step will look even smaller than the previously drawn ones.
- Add the fifth step.
The higher the depicted step is located, the smaller it appears.
- Draw the sixth step.
Above the previously drawn step, add a rectangle using straight lines.
- Depict the next step.
Now you should draw an even smaller rectangle than the one you drew earlier.
- Sketch out the last step.
In this step, draw a rectangle with long bases and short sides.
- Color the drawing.
To color the stairs, use gray and shades of brown.
