How to Draw the Hulk’s Face
This step-by-step tutorial will show you in detail how to draw the Hulk’s face, one of the strongest members of the Avengers.

How to Draw the Hulk’s Face: Introduction
This character appeared on comic book pages many decades ago and is one of the most recognizable heroes you can draw.
We have already covered him in our main Hulk drawing lesson, and now we’ll continue that topic by illustrating his face with a characteristic expression.
This drawing guide is presented in a slightly more advanced and detailed format compared to most faces on the site, giving you an opportunity to build on the skills you practiced in the earlier face drawing lesson and move to a higher level of accuracy.
It’s also useful to note that this Hulk face lesson can help you draw any version of the character, whether it comes from classic comics, modern movies, animated series, or video games.

How to draw the Hulk’s face step by step
- Outline the superhero’s lower face.
Mark the strong, angular shape of the face that defines this character’s look. Start by sketching a wide jaw with straight sides and a broad bottom curve. Try to keep both halves of the jaw relatively symmetrical. Mark the cheekbones at the sides of the face.

- Draw the Hulk’s eyebrows.
Sketch two thick, slanted shapes along the upper part of the head outline. These brows should point downward toward the center of the face. Try to keep both eyebrows roughly similar in size, but as always, don’t worry about making them perfectly identical.

- Sketch the eye shapes and pupils.
Now, draw the eye shapes directly under the brows, following the downward angle set in the previous step. These eyes should appear squinted, so use low, horizontal curves. Place the pupils toward the center of the eye shapes.

- Illustrate the nose form.
At this stage, draw the nose as a broad, simple shape at the center of the Incredible Hulk’s face, keeping the bridge short and the bottom squared. Outline just the essential shapes and don’t add small details at this stage. Place a small horizontal fold at the bridge area.

- Sketch the angry mouth.
Using smooth and elongated lines, draw the mouth as a wide. Try to sketch a stretched-open mouth that curves downward at the sides. Inside the moth shape, sketch the teeth with a couple of short horizontal lines at the inner corners.

- Draw the ears of the Incredible Hulk.
At the sides of the head, draw the ear shapes, placing them on eye level. Sketch the inner details with a couple of short curves. Once the ears are in place, sketch a few subtle lines around the cheeks and mouth. This is a good moment to lightly review the overall proportions.

- Sketch the superhero’s bangs.
To draw the hair, sketch a series of pointed, irregular strands across the forehead. These uneven shapes help create the slightly wild look. Keep the lines smooth but varied in length so the hair doesn’t appear too uniform or flat.

- Sketch the superhero’s bangs.
Continue sketching irregular strands along the top and sides of the head, keeping the shapes loose and varied. As you illustrate the sides, overlap some strands with the ears.

- Add colors to the face and hair.
To complete your Hulk face drawing, paint the face with an iconic green tone. Use darker greens for the hair. When coloring the eyes, choose a light shade. To make the eyes look more lively, add simple highlights. Keep the teeth white.
