I decided to explain Peppa’s drawing because this is a fairly simple and at the same time unusual character with an interesting face shape. Trust me, this will be one of the easiest drawing lessons ever.
So grab your favorite pencils and other drawing supplies. Put on some nice music, provide quality lighting for your workplace. Let’s start this tutorial on how to draw Peppa Pig for kids!

How to Draw Peppa Pig
- Draw the body.
Begin by drawing a curved line that resembles an inverted, flattened bowl. This will form the base of Peppa Pig’s body. This initial step is crucial as it sets the proportion and orientation of the entire character.
- Draw the head.
Draw Peppa Pig’s head by adding a large, backward “C” shape. This shape should dominate the drawing, reflecting the character’s design where the head is a key feature. Note the asymmetry in the head, which mirrors the original character’s design, making one side slightly more pronounced than the other.
- Draw the legs.
Now add Peppa Pig’s legs by sketching two short, simple lines at the bottom of the oval torso. These lines should be vertical and spaced evenly to provide stability and balance to the figure. On the lower parts of the lines there are horizontal ovals. It doesn’t look very symmetrical either, but that’s part of Peppa’s drawing style.
- Draw the arms and tail.
For the arms, draw two curved lines extending outward from each side of the oval torso. These lines should start from about halfway up the body and curve gently down and outward. Additionally, draw a small, curly tail at the back of the body to complete Peppa’s silhouette. This tail should be a simple spiral.
- Draw the nose and ears.
Draw a simple, upward-facing oval in the right part of the face. Add two small dots within this oval to represent the nostrils. Next, draw the ears by placing two small, rounded ovals on top of the head, ensuring they are proportionate to the head.
- Add the facial details.
Sketch two circles for the eyes. Inside each eye, draw a smaller circle for the pupils, aligning them towards the center to give Peppa a cheerful expression. Sketch a wide, simple curved line for the mouth below the snout to create a happy smile. Finally, add a small circle of pink on each cheek to represent a blush
- Color Peppa Pig.
Finalize the drawing by coloring Peppa’s dress in a vibrant red and her shoes in black. Add any final touches such as slight blush on the cheeks or a hint of color in the ears to complete this drawing.
