How to Draw a Dog Very Easy

In this super simple art instruction, I will show you how to draw a dog very easily.

Earlier I showed you how to draw a dog, but that instruction was a little more difficult than this one. Here I decided to make the process of drawing a dog even easier and more intuitive.

Step 1

Start drawing the dog by depicting the head.

Step 2

Now, using an arched line, separate the head and muzzle. Draw the nose.

Step 3

Now draw the upper line of the mouth below the nose. Draw round eyes just above the arched line.

Step 4

Continue drawing the mouth with a U-shaped line. Draw rounded brows above the eyes.

Step 5

Use a few simple lines to depict the ear at the top of the head.

Step 6

Now draw the second ear, which should look like a mirror image of the first one.

Step 7

Using simple lines draw the leg. The shape of the leg can be more rounded.

Step 8

Now draw the second front leg line of the chest line between the legs.

Step 9

Use a couple of curved lines to depict the back and chest.

Step 10

Continuing the lines of the chest and back, depict the near hind leg.

Step 11

Now depict the visible part of the second hind leg.

Step 12

Use a couple of simple, curved lines to draw the tail of the cute dog.

Step 13

Paint the dog brown, the inside of the ears pink, the eyebrows and muzzle beige, and the eyes black. Remember to leave round highlights inside the eyes.

To make your dog drawing more interesting, you can add some shadows and textures to the artwork. For example, you can depict fingers, claws, and the texture of the hair.
