How to Draw a Monarch Butterfly
Today I suggest you complete a new lesson in which you will learn how to draw a monarch butterfly step by step.
Butterfly drawing is a lot of fun and in this tutorial I will show you how to draw a monarch butterfly. This is one of the most famous butterflies in North America. The monarch butterfly wakes up with the onset of spring and lives for about two months.
Butterfly wings are thin, but hardy, this allows you to overcome long distances. Large flocks of monarch butterflies annually migrate to the south, where there is a more favorable climate for breeding.
The monarch butterfly has an elongated belly, thin antennae and wings of a standard shape. This tutorial will require your ability to make symmetrical objects, as the two wings must be exactly the same shape and size.
Take your time during the lesson and carefully draw all the lines. Remember all the drawing steps so that in the future you can use the acquired skills when you want to draw any other butterfly. To do this, it will be enough to slightly change the shape and color of the wings.

With smooth lines, depict the upper part of the wing of the same shape as in the example.

Using a smooth line, add the lower part of the wing to make a closed path.
