How to Draw a Woman
In this drawing lesson, I will show you how to draw a woman. This step-by-step instruction consists of nine steps.

The ability to draw a person is a very important skill that you will definitely need to complete many of your drawings. Knowing how to draw a woman, you will be able to depict a portrait and supplement it with any details of your choice.
The woman you will draw with this tutorial is in cartoon style, so her head is quite large in relation to her torso. When following this instruction, you will first draw the outline of the head, then the torso and costume of the woman.

Materials
- Pencil
- Paper
- Eraser
- Coloring supplies
Time needed: 30 minutes
How to Draw a Woman
- Draw the bottom of the head.
Depict an arc and two curved lines along the edges to draw the woman’s chin and ears.
- Add the top part of the head.
Sketch out the woman’s hairstyle using two arcs of different sizes.
- Depict the upper body of the woman.
Below the previously drawn outline of the head, add the outlines of the jacket.
- Add details.
Draw the arms, the edges of the jacket and the neck of the dress.
- Depict the bottom of the dress.
Below the previously drawn outline of the jacket, add a curved line.
- Sketch out the woman’s legs.
Now, you should draw two identical legs using curved lines.
- Add the hairline and the inside of the ears.
To complete this step, you should use curved lines of varying lengths.
- Add facial features.
Draw two circles, an arc, and some curved lines inside the previously drawn outline of the head.
- Color the drawing.
To color the woman, use any colors.
