How to Draw Spinel

Spinel is a character in the Steven Universe franchise. Spinel has a pink complexion and hair tied in two ponytails. Spinel’s costume is also pink and has a heart on her chest. She looks very nice and friendly.
In this lesson, you will practice drawing the emotions and facial expressions of the character, as you depict Spinel as cheerful and winking. Prepare your art supplies, then carefully follow this instruction and enjoy the drawing process.

Time needed: 30 minutes
How to Draw Spinel
- Draw the outline of the character’s head and hair.
Depict the head using arcs and curved lines, add the ponytails on the head in the form of hearts.
- Add the character’s facial features.
Inside the previously drawn outline of the head, add arcs, an oval, straight and curved lines.
- Start drawing the torso and decorative elements.
Draw two curved lines of different lengths, and also draw a heart-shaped figure on the chest.
- Sketch out the shoulders and arms of the character.
On the right and left sides of the body, add an arc and an incomplete oval, as well as curved lines
- Depict the hands of the Spinel.
At the ends of the previously drawn arms draw large gloved hands using arcs and curved lines.
- Add the lower body of the Spinel.
Draw some curved lines and arcs to draw the character’s skirt and start drawing the legs.
- Draw the main part of the legs.
Below the two previously drawn arcs, draw straight and rounded lines, as shown in the figure.
- Add the outlines of the Spinel shoes.
To finish the legs, depict the shoes using incomplete ovals, as well as curved lines.
- Color the drawing.
To color the Spinel, use different shades of pink and black.
