How to Draw a Mermaid Tail
- Draw one side of the mermaid’s tail.
To complete this simple step, draw one wavy line as shown.
- Add another side of the mermaid tail.
Now draw one arc on the right side of the previously drawn line.
- Depict the top outline of the mermaid’s tail.
Connect the top ends of the two previously drawn lines with one small arc.
- Start drawing the bottom of the mermaid’s tail.
Draw a fin on the mermaid’s tail on the left side. To do this, use two curved lines.
- Finish drawing the outline of the mermaid’s tail.
Add another fin on the mermaid’s tail, positioning it at the bottom using two curved lines.
- Sketch out the scales.
At the top of the mermaid’s tail, add a lot of arcs, as shown in the picture.
- Add details.
You should draw several curved lines of different lengths at the bottom of the mermaid’s tail.
- Color the drawing.
