Pandas have a beautiful black and white color. It is this contrasting color that many people really like. Pandas are good tree climbers and good swimmers.
Most of the time, pandas sit in a tree and eat bamboo. A panda can eat a huge amount of bamboo in a day. I hope you enjoyed learning a few facts about these amazing animals and enjoy this lesson.
The body of a panda has rounded shapes, so this lesson will require your ability to make smooth rounded lines. In the picture, you see a panda sitting. Try to correctly portray the position of the body.
Materials
- Pencil
- Paper
- Eraser
- Coloring supplies
Time needed: 30 minutes
How to Draw a Cute Panda
- Draw the head.
Determine the size and location of the panda and draw a circle as in the example.
- Depict the torso.
Sketch out a smooth line below the head to get the rounded torso.
- Add the elements of the face.
Draw the eye in the form of a small oval and add the nose.
- Detail the color on the head.
Add a circle around the eye to outline where the fur color will be different.
- Sketch out the ear.
At the top of the head, draw the ear, which has a rounded shape.
- Add the upper paw.
The upper paw is wide and located at the level of the neck.
- Sketch out the bottom paw.
The lower paw has a rounded shape.
- Correct inaccuracies.
With the eraser, carefully remove all extra lines in your drawing.
- Color the panda.
You will need black. Add highlights to the eyes.
